The Return

The Zapbots plan for the return of the Sun Monsters but discover an incredible finding in the process.

Synopsis

After many months it is discovered that the Sun Monsters have regenerated and are approaching Earth with obvious intent to attack. Unable to stop the insurmountable amount of monsters, the Zapbots begin assisting the Earth with evacuations to Gearatron. Unfortunately they can only save Earth's children.

Meanwhile on Gearatron the Zapbots discover an ancient part of the planet with a special component. Using this ancient technology the modern day Zapbots tap into the Ancient Zapbot technology to create a new transformation for the planet. Fortress Misslemax will then be able to transform and combine with Gearatron's new robot body.

Traveling to Earth, Gearatron fights and destroys the Sun Monsters. However after the ordeal there is damage to Earth because of Gearatron's proximity to the planet. Gearatron returns to it's original orbit and the Zapbots proceed to assist Earth to recover from the attack and begin plans to start space exploration with the humans.

In the Epilogue a crack in the Universe allows a floating head of a massive robot to enter the Zapbot Universe.

• The timeplace puts this around 1990, which is after the Soviet Union fell in 1989, however in this universe it never fell.
