- Gearatron is an Zapbots Misc from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Gearatron is the homeworld of the Zapbots. It is about the same size as Earth's moon. In emergency situations, Gearatron is the homeworld of the Zapbots. Approximately a little larger than Earth's moon it has an emergency transformation that allows it to become a robot with a connection key from either Fortress Misslemax or Duplaflex. Because of its vast mass, it is tough to navigate in space, and thus recommended that its body does not leave orbit for too long.

Behind the Scenes
I think I just saw the Transformers Episode 'Changing Gears' and just came up with the idea of Gearatron after that. The name stuck obviously.
