The following profile provides spoilers for The Wrath of Sliphead. We recommend reading the story first before this article.
Sliphead is the long-lost brother of Slipstream. It was rumored that he defected to the Nonocons's side but was rescued through the help of his brother and the rest of the Zapbots. Since his recovery, he has shown to be a trusted and dependable Zapbot always willing to lend a hand to those in need. A little bit of a worry-bot he does tend to let his anxiety get the best of him. He is also one of the most armed Zapbots in the fleet with most of his armament coming from his actual body.

When Anthony and Mike Quartz are on a date in NYC they quickly discover a robot attacking the city later to be revealed as Sliphead. It is discovered that he is ravaging the energy of New York City as well the culprit who stole a special device from Gearatron. As they attempt to locate him and figure out his plan, Mike Quartz is captured and used a ploy to get Shortstop into a trap, which Shortstop avoids using Scan and Hightone as a backup. When Sliphead can't destroy Shortstop he flees to his secret base at the North Pole. Shortstop and the team join the Snow Team (and Slipstream) to attack his base. During the attack, Sliphead activates the Gearatron Device causing his metal plates to enlarge. The Snow Team merge to form Defender and thus disable him. Slipstream approaches and tries to convince him to surrender as it is revealed they are brothers. Secretish appears with the Nonocons and it is discovered that he was controlling Sliphead with a device implanted by the late Amphotron. In frustration, Sliphead rips the device from his head to stop himself.
The Zapbots take Sliphead back to Fortress Misslemax and it is discovered that Sliphead although under the will of Secretish was trying his best to fight the control and not hurt Mike Quartz. After therapy Sliphead becomes one of the Zapbots.
Behind the Scenes
I originally drew Sliphead on Dazzle Draw on my Apple IIe computer. I created a short little 'Movie Preview' with Animate (another Apple IIe program) to basically promote the movie, not even knowing what it would be about. It used the last part of music from Genesis's Duke's Travel to basically promote the movie, timed to the visuals changing. I then wrote the story I think a year later and thus fleshed out the character.
