Hauler
- Hauler is an Zapbots Buildabots from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Hauler is constantly depressed as he views the universe as half empty. If you ask him how his day is, he will literally look up and expect a grey cloud to be passing over. As he is constantly in programming therapy the rest of his team will try their best to pep up his spark. He is actually pretty impressive when transporting anything from point A to point B. Whether it's energy cubes or dirt, not one spec will be dropped due to his remarkable force field technology.

Behind the Scenes
Back in 1992 when I created him, it was to give a character to the much confusing mention of Hauler in More than Meets the Eye (which we all know now became Grapple.) As such, I wanted to create this character that was only mentioned once. Years later of course we now know there are several repaints of Grapple to bring the Transformers version to the forefront, but I will claim my version came first of course.
