Epilogue

Shane was one of the numerous human children captured by the Gongos during their invasion of Earth. While passing through the sector, Bridge, Lighting and Knife were able to rescue him as the Gongos chased their ship through a wormhole to the other side of the Universe. The Ancient Zapbots continued to raise and train Shane to become a Headmaster with their knowledge of the events of Earth sometimes coming through communications in subspace. When the Zapbots made it through a re-emergence of the wormhole they rescued Shane (now known as Geo) and the Ancient Zapbots, bringing them back to Earth space.

The Fall and Rebirth of Gearatron

Shane was one of the many Headmaster warriors protecting the United States Capital when numerous Zapbot enemies launched an all-scale assault on Earth. When the President set off the Nuclear codes to obliterate the planet, he subdued Mike Quartz taking him to old Battlebase headquarters in the Rocky Mountains for safety.

Behind the Scenes

Shane was my last friend from High-School and we were in-separatable as buddies for a short while. We lost touch around 1998. Last I heard he was married with five kids in Indiana.

He did the initial sketch for this and was featured in the Epilogue story.

Update 2021: - When I started to rewrite this story I googled Shane’s name and saw that Shane had [passed away] in 2018 due to a horrific car accident. This makes this story a very important memory of someone that was very near and dear to my heart. It is a shame I never had the chance to reconnect with him. My condolences to his family.
