Fire/Backfire is an Zapbots Double Spy from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Reclusive Fire tends not to keep any friends as he keeps his background as a secret to even fellow Zapbots. As a double spy Fire has provided numerous bits of information back to Zapbot strategic command. He takes great pleasure in his ability, gleefully sitting back when Amphotron will berate Skyscream. A very complex computational center this allows him to remain under the wire and undisclosed to the enemy as Backfire.
