Sand is an Zapbots Minicars from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Not the first to go enter battle, Sand prefers to remain a scout and leave the fighting up to the bigger guys. He has excellent reconnaissance skills especially when it comes to escaping the scene. A pacifist he prefers to be left alone playing volleyball on Earth's beaches with fellow aliens of all types. Known amongst the team as the director of 'coolness.'
